Eater LA - Raise a Toast to Bartenders With Tequila Cocktails at These LA Bars

Yes, the first task of the bartender is to pour drinks, but that’s rarely where their responsibilities end. They are de facto masters of ceremonies, making sure everyone is having a good time (but not too good a time). They make introductions. They are educators, introducing patrons to their new favorite cocktails or spirits. Some can even be counselors or tour guides (next time you go to a new city, ask a bartender where to visit – you’ll get top-notch recommendations).

Teremana Tequila is honoring bartenders everywhere through its “Mana for a Cause” campaign. As part of the initiative, Teremana will make a $250,000 donation to Another Round Another Rally, a non-profit financial and educational resource for the hospitality industry, in partnership with the LA bars below. So get a drink – and support your local bartender – at these bars throughout the Los Angeles area.

Encanto’s menu of Mexican cuisine has kept the former Mexico City restaurant space in Los Feliz alive, managing to both pay tribute to the long-running neighborhood favorite and expand on what the former did well. Dip into its cocktail menu of tequila-forward favorites, including multiple takes on margaritas (three different ones during happy hour), and either keep it light with a selection of tacos or go big with the restaurant’s signature whole branzino.
